Prolog ESK and 2nd race of the Cyclo Cross Cup

The beginning of my cyclo-cross season this year was the Klaus Störtebecker Memorial Cup of the Eisenschweinkader Berlin. This is a really legendary race with a really ambitious and varied course and almost nothing can overcall this event. The course lays directly in the idyllic park of Görlitz at the foot of the Rodelberg and was decorated with grave candles. You had to ride with a team of 4, for 45min full throttle and no break, at everytime their had to be a rider on the course and you had to wear a XXL-shirt. First of all it seemed to be really hard with this shirt, but than we solved the problem and were able to cross the finish line first of all, sadly it was only half of the tournament. The rules want you, that you have to empty a large glass of beer without stopping. We weren´t able to do that and so the riders who crossed the line third won. But at least we gained some points for the real race next week in Parkaue. Than the others will loose and we gain some more points for the overall ranking.   Die ESK Regel will es, dass der Sieger eine Hopfenkaltschale ohne Abzusetzen trinkt. Das haben wir im Rausch des Sieges leider nicht geschafft und so hat das drittplatzierte Team den Prolog gewonnen. Gab aber auch nur ein paar Punkte dafür. Nächstes Wochenende ist das erste richtige ESK-Rennen in der Parkaue. Dann gibts auf die Mütze und viele Punkte für die Gesamtwertung. Because I didn´t participate at the first race, while I was racing another race, the Berlin-Hamburg, when you remember, I had to get some points. The course, I fell in love with it, it was mine. Short but hard ascents and the rest, like a flow, like it shouldn´t be better… Prolog ESK and 2nd race of the Cyclo Cross Cup It was a strong field here and  I thought that I was able to finish in the Top 10 and so I began to ride, but soon a mud pond was my doom, right before the pond were one or two hard ascents and you had to keep your fingers away from the brakes, to fly with full speed thru the mud, if not, you would got stucked and I didn´t want to risk anything and so during round 4 I was lost, my bar loosen up… that´s all folks…game over…I thought and of course I just have passed the aid-station and had no torx in m pocket and had to walk.
