Flatten the dirt at the P-Way

You just talk a bit, and than you remark. Damn it, the date of the P-Way, fits directly in you race schedule and as a preparation run. So, I tried to recieve a spot and got it, thanky you Pitjes for that. At the 8.9.12, one day before the other Pirates will do their best on the MTB-course, it´s time fort he runners to flatten the dirt. The elevation profile looked very interesting, but not that worse, as the one or another run in the Eiffel. So, starting from the last block, as a rookie... Shortly after the start, was the first problem or hill of the course 2,5km over 150m of altitude, easy…than it became a constant up and down over the nice course, so, learning to arrange your race. I made my way further on to the front from far behind, and it makes fun, to pass, and to pass. The supporters, spectators and viewers by the side were awesome. Sometimes on the uphill section they helped you to run up the hill by shouting you forward, or maybe I just tried to get away from them to run in silence again??? It was just awesome.... After the last nutrition supply stand, they shouted to me, run-roadrunner,run, you´ll get the others, they just walk, and after 150m I know why, just keep on running, even when it hurts, if you start walking, you´re lost...After gravel, slippery grass, bitumen and roots...there it was: Last Exit: Plettenberg...running down a single train into the town, there it´s funning passing the others. Than finally I reached the finish and in between it became warmer... I checked my watch, is it enought for my personnal goal? Last year it would...just in the moment when I wanted to get myself y coke, someone hit me on my shoulder...Sveni, the first women overall. Congratulations. Thirsty... Is it really gold????: Thanks a lot fort he really awesome Pirate support, especially for you before the race, Moni and Bütti Now taking a shower and some delicious ice-cream with the other Pirates.
