P-Way 2012, Victory!!!!!!!!

P-Way is not only a race fot thr MTB`s, aswell fort he runners!!! On Saturday is time of the P-Way half-marathon, with more than 800 participants. After my victory over this distance in 2005, I wanted to win again. Last years winner and the 2nd of last year were on the strt as well. Even the weather was allright and our Pirate supporters were in a really good mood. At this point I like to say thanky you to the house of “ Zimbo” Zimmermann for his hopitality. I had a wonderful start in the morning with you. The strt was at 10:30o´clock and after some talks, I was allowed to start in the front box, as a VIP... Than it was time to start, 20,7km with 652m of altitude, no easy walk here. After we left Plettenberg, it went uphill... Just take it easy, not to waste all my powers at the beginning, just run and watch and look at the enemies, luckily they started not that fast as well. After 2km I decided to run in my very own speed and took me ahead of her and soon , there was a gap... A girl of a club in Aachen ran a good speed and so I rn some time with her, but after 5km I decided again to run in my very own speed and passed her and took The lead. It was a very ambitious run thru a wonderful scenery. In between you had some very steep ramps and than again some very long softly uphill parts and of course some single-trails. Than Ifall in a trance  and just ran, when I took around, no one ahead of me nor behind me and no other women in sight. It can´t be that far anymore, another single-trail downhill, than enter the city and, well, there is a women not that far behind me, okay concentrate and full throttle. It can´t be that I will loose a half marathon on the last meters. How far???? Finally back in the city again, uncountable amount of curves and there it is, the finish-line. It was enough, I won the half marathon of the P-way with a time of 1:43:15h with 22seconds ahead of the 2nd. Your Sveny TEAM PIRATE JULIACUM
