Just fun – Roadrunner runs down the bitumen

If someone told me a year ago, that I just would run a marathon for fun, I would have keelhaul himself. But the 10th Hella-Marathon-Night should be a marathon for fun. Just to enjoy it, after the worse weather conditions of last time. Yes, some of you will say, that´s not possible... I started from far behind, right behind the pace-maker and just stay behind him, was my goal… After two rounds thru the town, you entered the course. By the way, lots of greetings to all the Pirates who started last week at the Silbersee triathlon, I don´t know who, but at all. And of course I got my own Pirate support team... Right thru the old warehouse district Than I thought that the pace maker ran to fast, or maybe I wasn´t able to calculate anymore, but when we passed the start of the half marathon and all the starters still stood there, I knew that he ran to fast…  Just when we passed it, the start happened and I thought some furious buffaloes ran behind me, it was really loud and than, some minutes later the first runner. Awesome. Thant he night fell and we ran thru the lighten harbour and back to town again. Than I grabbed the Jolly and crossed the finish line. Sadly the photograph was alredy asleep ;-) Conclusion: Yes, it´s possible to run a narathon just for fun, even the result is a new personal best time, fucking pace-maker… See you soon Your Roadrunner
