RURTAL-RUN 2012

After I refreshed my legs on the day before at the BSG-Run, I went directly the next day to participat at the 10km run in Düren. Last year I won here a fantastic gift basket, and I wanted to have a new one. While weh ad wonderful weather, the girls had fun on the sport field as well like her mother Even the Capt´n arrived quite easy by bike. Than, was starting time, first a round thru the stadion and than two rounds right along the river Rur. I was still aware of this shocking moment of the P-Way, when shortly before the finish a women came in sight behind me, this I wanted to avoid today and so, full throttle right from the beginning, but not full power…. When I checked my watch after 5km: 19:12min, allright, and I still felt good, allright, further on…Even my gap to the 2nd was good, but you can´t be sure until you cross the finish and so...the 2nd round even went really good and so I crossed the finish line after 38:35min as the first women and with a new personnal years best time. YES... Here it is, my brand new gift basket! I gotta say thank you to Peter Borsdorff, fort he wonderful contest and the nice pictures… Your Sveny TEAM PIRATE JULIACUM
