Exercise camp in Vosges

In the week before the Easter days we decided ourselves to travel to the Vosges, to the wonderful village of Rimbachzell, right between Colmar and Mulhouse.
When we got there, we had wonderful weather, and so, we un-packed our bikes and rode up the Grand Ballon on the first day and on the 2nd day we rode up the Markstein, the street from Cretes who connect both peaks, were still closed because of snow.

On the 3rd day we rode up the Col du Hundsruck, it was the „Peak“ where you can still hear the magic words“ Fight, you lazy ass”.
But on the next day it was much harder to ride up to Vieil Armand, where I pushed the hell out of me, sadly you can´t see it on the pictures.

On the 4th day we rode thru the Rhine valley under heavy rainfalls, tah we took a day off and bought everything out of the Decathlon and the Fnac near Mulhouse. The next day was „ Good Friday and we visited Colmar, of course with our bikes and of course we took a break to enjoy the sun a little bit.

After two more grey days with snowfall on Easter Monday morning we went back home. After all we rode more than 700km and the decuple with meters of altitude.

Now I´m ready fort he bike and triathlon season of 2012
