GCC Walldorf 2012 - Do it in the dirt

At the 05.05.2012 we participated at the German Cross Country Race in Walldorf. The weather forecast promised nothing good and they spoke true. At least, I got brand new tyres on my bike, when we arrived at 10:30o´clock, we had soft rain and I received my papers and the inspection of my bike. We had some sunshine until the pre-start at 12:30o´clock, so I decided myself to wear white that day, which should be a mistake later. I´m not able to get it clean again. 13:00o´clock. Start, and with the starting signal, it started to rain again. And the course became a nightmare. My glasses fogged up and the course was slippery. While I was almost blind, I decided to get rid of my glass, so I was able to see, for a short time, until I was hit by a large amount of mud by the other riders. Than on a hill passage, the my bike or myself made a mistake, my bike rode up to the sky, while it left me behind sitting on the grounds, she might forgot me, but than she remembered me and came back to earth and the rear mud guard, stayed on the ground. I grabbed all my stuff and made my way to my home box, where Roman and Martin prepared everything for my fueling up, and didn´t expect me already. Result of my crash: handle bar bended, the brake bended and not to forget the lost and broken mud guard, faltly they fixed the necessary and I made my way back on the course. Even with the new tyres I had no Grip on the ground. Half a round and two more crashes later I decided to break up the race. I still had to work on Monday, and I didn´t want me to break anything. Finally I ended up on the 114th of 128 rated riders and I went home healthy. I think the health is better than everything. Thank you Roman and Martin for your help.
