Hello altogether,

Things were the same as usually in Willingen, bad weather adn the last day of the event was the best. But someone of the olders told me, that in the earlier years they had wonderful weather during the whole event.
After I had to break up my race in Siedelsbrunn/Hessen because of sickness, even with a trip there and back of each direction 3h, I wanted to participate in Willingen on the short distance. I told myself, that I would listen to my inner part before the start, when the weather would be to bad, if I really want to start. And because the weather stayed dry that day, I started at 8:00o´clock. First we had a traffic jam again, when we had to ride up the Einberg, after that passage, you were bale to see, what the rain had made out of the course during the last days, it was really muddy and slippery.

I started very easy and wanted to do it the whole race, because I didn´want to crash or to have an accident. I haven´t heard more sirens in Willingen in the years before than this year.

I just want to say: Get well soon, to doris at this point, she broke her shoulder, on her first start as a Pirate.

During the race, you could see lots of stuff, riders with a ruff on a barrow, on the meadow paths, police motorbikes with following ambulances.I was really fascinated about the rider with his bike on his shoulder which I pass, while his front wheel, were broken in a 90degrees angel. For sure, no exaggeration. I don´t know how he managed it. It´s like a riddle…

Next weekend I wanted to participate at a race in Weter/Ruhr, but I had to cancel this, because of a stomach flu. By the way, I lost so much weight this year as a fact of illness, that I already become underweight. I hope, that 2012 will not become a year of sickness.

Lots of greetings

Elvis
