ITU World Cup Triathlon Series Kitzbühel: Zipf 12th , Alistair Brownlee won this race…
Kitzbühel, 06. July2013 – The German Jonathan Zipf finished with the best result of the Germans at this ITU-Worlds Cup Series in Kitzbühel on the 12th place.
Alistair Brownlee of Great Britain, and Olympic gold medal winner, won the race.
There were about 800 participants divided into several starting groups.
After absolving the Alp-Triathlon at the Schliersee, the asents of 23% weren´t that steep to me
I never saw a transition area at a scarp before…
Because of the good organization I was able to find my shoes quickly.
Up, my daughters waited for me on the running course…
Wonderful scenery, weather and a fantastic triathlon.
Even the running course got ascents from about 18%
In between my daughters helped with the nutrition supply of the athletes.
From the Alp Plateau you went to the Alp House, in the valley you can see the the Black Lake.
Than crossing the finish line, sadly the the race was so short.
