CityBike Marathon 2013 in Munich.

At the14.04. 13 it was time again. Time fort he CityBike Marathon right in front of my house. The night before I had some problems because of a stomach flu and decided the next day, just to ride the 60km.I left the 80km for Gnannt Michi. Because it´s just a flat race, not my favourite, I left the lat 20km for someone else. The weather was quite good and you did not have to warm up a lot. We had a new neutral start over the first 6km and than after the Kennedy bridge, it was racing time.  Right along the river Isar and soon you get to know that the speed here was really fast. In between I rode more than35km/h, just the pro´s were faster. At the  Fröttmaniger hill, weh ad some problmes with the course, some rode complete up, even it was blocked and I rode it up as well and lost more than 3minutes. After riding flat for such along time, I enjoyed myself about the Olympic Park. The last 10km were thru the Olympic Park and even a little bit up the Olympic hill. The finish line closed by and after 1:59:39h and 60km and crossed it on the 113th place overall and 32nd of 66 in my age group. I was satisfied, because I was even 10min faster than last time. Now I´m really looking forward fort he bike-festival in Riva del Garda. My preparations running well, even I got a light cold right now. I´ll report you… Under Jolly Roger Mike
