After long and dogged fightings with the local Forest holders, we founded a good solution for everybody and the P-Way Marathonweekend is about to start.

Tradionelly on the 2nd weekend in September all the PIRATES will meet for their Club Championship in Plettenberg,Sauerland, by running or cycling. After the running success in 2008 (1st place overall Rene Cremers 21km) ist time in 2009 for the PIRATE Bikers to set the Flag on the Podium.
Which was very difficult in the last 2 years…The last PIRAT Club Champion, Andre Zamponi,had with 1:44:11 h a real good time for the 42 km, but it had to be enough “only” for the 6th place Overall. Another favourite on the short track was Robert Karrasch had to bury his ambition on the 1st place after a downfall at 5km, but az last he finished 12th. For the ladies had the PIRATE Bride Doror Richters good ambitions for the win, but she had to suffer over a stomach flu and had to surrender…

All the PIRATES are invited to come to Plettenberg on the 12-13th September. The Application will start at Midnight of 24/25.April. I Asked all PIRATES to hurry up with their application on WWW.p-weg.de because the places are limited and last year they have been sold out after 48h. when the application is closed, there is no way/possibility for me to register late anybody.
For the accomodation and catering will be arranged as usaully

the usual social programme will be there. On Sunday eve PIRATE Elvis will be defend his title at the After Race Party at our PIRATE-Inn Keeper…
