Hiya from the Landlubbers in Bavaria… For the first time we all are on tour in a race with the Pirate-Outfit. Well, at least for 50% we had just the Shirts, the Pants were still in the sewing-machine… Sadly the Lake Garda Bike-Marathon is meanwhile a real Big-Event with over 2000 Starters, and cause of that huge amount of Participants at the first Uphill Passage in Arco it came to traffic jams and you had to shove your Bike…

Even the assortment of the Downhills on the narrow Trail-Passages in San Giovanni, were partly miserable chosen, so it came to much real bad Crashes and injuries, caused by jostling and collisons. But at least it was real nice…

quite fairly jostloing at the startline, but real f…ing good music…. “Highway to Hell ” for heating up in the morning is real motivated…

Sadly, there was no Wheatbeer at the Finish-Line, but it would be worth it…after the Ronda Grande !

Partly it was real narrow and again some jostling, but no one Could pass at all…
