Within the German Championships I learn how to fly...even my „MARIN“ were terryfied of heights ;-)

I returned from the German Mountain Bike Championships with a medal in my luggage. The tournament lasted over two days. While the Trials and the slalom were on saturday, you had to collect points for the starter field assembly on Sundays Cross-Country-Race. On the trials I received 13 from 14 possible points on a track which wasn´t that easy.

During the single slalom I got 5 from 6 points points. The slalom was more something like a downhill race than slalom and real stiffy…

But my new “MARIN” is real „BAD“ and brought me safe to the finish. The cross-country race in Schotten took part on a real good course but were like a thriller…
We fought very hard for the places. Finally at the end I ended up only 20seconds behind the winner Veronika Brüchle and only 2 seconds behind the second place Anika Buhl. I could hardly believe it, that I just turned third in the German Championships.

The winner audience was real awesome and hearing the National Anthem gave me something like a shiver of honor…
