It's been a long since my last time… on skis. Just one more reason to try it out again. And so, once again I was off to the Bernese Oberland in Switzerland, on Christmas Day. There, the ground was covered with a lot of good snow, unusual for December.

So, there was no time to lose getting into my Pirate winter outfit....

and get onto the cross-country ski run of the winter wonderland

Of course the corresponding breaks to enjoy the surroundings, were a part of it.

The great event took place at noon: the hour-long (!) lift ride up and down on the sled.

One thing is clear: I am now a cross-country fan and will not let this be the last skiing of the season
