the race season is about to begin and we (the tandem team) are training like crazy. We returned from our one-week training camp on Mallorca a little while ago and have been training on our tandem for a few days now.

We had taken our own raceing bikes to Mallorca for basic training. We were able to get a few miles under our belt, despite the rainy weather on the otherwise so sunny island and we even had the opportunity to take some pretty pictures for Pirate

We have already registered for a few races, where we will be representing our sponsor PIRATE. One will be the legendary race in the Black Forest, the Black Forest Ultra Bike Marathon, where we will be attempting the big lap (72m/116km).

First on the agenda is the ForestMan Marathon, a race in the SOG-Sport series that we are participating in. The ForestMan begins in about 14 days. Since tandems aren't very common, we will probably get some stares in our PIRATE outfits!

We hope it will be a good, victorious season.
