2 - 1 - 2 - 3 - 3 - … all mine… Or something like that… these are the standings from Sveny out of the last 5 events. By the way, mine are not worth mentioning, at first!

It`s not going well by the time. Maybe cause of the hard power training…No, I didn`t do anything like that at this moment…even if the captain manages to get a laugh everytime.

It started with a Advent Winter Run in Wegberg,10K,2 rounds, Sveny 2. woman in 38:53min und Captain Klotz in moderate 38:00min and the 18.Place. One Week later, the Jülicher Christmas Run, ungrateful, angled and bumpy 4 Rounds at our “HomeRun”

Sveny the superior 1st woman in 39:30min, Captain Klotz a little bit faster in 37:44 the 12th place After that, something to cheer(Christmas,etc…) then the New Yeary Eve Run on the 31.12.08 again at Wegberg. And like every time, Sveny had a pride of Lions in the luggage ;-)

this time 15K and 3 Rounds. Cold, but allright. Sveny 2nd woman in 60:44, Captain Klotz the first time a little bit more pleased with the 11th place and 56:47min. Sounds allright, but last year I did the 15K 4Seconds faster. OK,leave it this way and also the Captain had to run run on ist own without a pride of Lions...

The New Year went on with the Dürener CityRUn. Fat race on a dreadful Pace with 6 Rounds disperse on 10K and with much more than 600 Starters.
Whats Going on here? Sveny 3rd Woman in a super 38:28min, (here 2nd best time over 10K ) only a bunch of seconds behind the 2nd place. And what did the Captain??? He burst in 2nd round like a Yeast Cake and ambled to the finish line in floppy 39:07min, 40th place L
And Rene? winner of the Plettenberg Halfmarathon 2008 is a damm of a man, did the race in fantastic 33:55min, and went 2nd just behind a colleague of him from Kenya

The End of the story is the Halfmarathon in Wegberg end of january and the last race of the Winter series…
Icy,Stormy Wind from the East, Temperatures below the freezing point and 4 rounds with the entering round. Sveny did the HM in 1h29min06sec, became 3rd woman and the Captain in 1h23min19sec and the 17th place. Even here 3,5 minutes slower than the year before.

The Captain totally exhausted behind the finish line…

The Conclusion: A real good fast woman and every time in the first places…normally we should do the wedding stuff!!!!…and Sveny, easy by doing the Cool-Down after the Halfmarathon

The Captain still got a little bit achievement of potential to the top. Hopefully, he finds and getting used to it!!!!!
The Intention staying the same;-) by beating the besttime of the 10K, Halfmarathon and of course the full Marathon….Attack 2009
