on we go, with the wild trip, 3rd age-group at the Rocks Mountain Bike Marathon in Willingen. The Winner was noone else than the Master-World-Champion and belgium Master, Patrick Meersschaert from the UNIVEGA PRO CYCLING TEAM.

The new Course was real various, more technical Parts and trails than the year before. What still the same, was the Weather in Hochsauerland and the unearthly hour of the start from the first starting block at 7:30… On the short track with 51k´s and 1500 DA(Difference in Altitude), it went right from the start to the first uphill part from the tarred road to trails over to muddy passages, what repeated itself during the race…
After 2:30:52h I finished neither with a downfall or a damage and made it right to the podium…

Next Saturday, July the 20th 2009 I try to reach the stars at the Cross-Country Folding-Bike Worlds Championship… Info: www.mtb-marathon-pfronten.de
