Some time this summer, the time had come, for the well-deserved vacation. So, into the boats and off to some island, to be lazy and put our legs. Or not?

Somehow, I had the glorious idea to see how high we could make it up the Matterhorn on our bikes. Maybe I should have joined the Americans and Asians on the Glacier-Express?!

Never mind - passed the friendly yeti and up to the eternal ice.

At some point we had to call it quits though and we turned back below the Matterhorn glacier.

A lot of other stuff happened, but I can't really remember any of it. Did my bike really break, when I tried riding down the slope - I don't know?!

Whatever, Doro and I enjoyed ourselves and are looking forward to the Pirate championship.

We definitely got enough altitude training. In the meanwhile, we also had visitors from France for a week with the appropriate indulgent in wine.
We'll see! Do it to it!
