so I slipped on the pink battle dress and made sure everything fit.....

...and, right on time, in just 60 degree water (Fahrenheit, 16 Celsius) we started swimming in Lac Neuchatel....

You wouldn't believe how glad I was to get out of that freezing water and onto my bike after the 0.9m/1,5km swim...

We were to take 4 laps around the flat 6.2m/10km course and were allowed to ride in slipstreams, which made for fast times.

The 1.5m/2,5km course for the run was also completely flat and parts of it took us through the nearby park.

I ended up in 3rd place, which made me happy!
