Moin landlubbers,
last weekend I had a double date in the Saarland on my schedule,
in Schmelz and in Homburg, two races of the Cross-Cup of Germany,
with the device: “Just ate right”. I finished 2nd in Schmelz and
3rd in Homburg, and so everything went quite well for me…
Getting started in Schmelz, take a deep breath and let´s get it
started.
On a wet and muddy course right thru the forest without any kinds
of barricades or stairs, it was a really fast course and on this
course you could ride as well a MTB CC-race.
” Just ate right” isn´t just an expression, next to the prize
money, you recieved some kinds of game specialities of the deer
and wild boar,as a present and a bottle of Cabernet-Syrah. .
The very next day, I went to the „ YMCA“ in Homburg, to get some
more points for the Cross-Cup of Germany. And there was no place
for violence, sexual harassment and abuse. Why?
Because the department of horticultural of the „ YMCA“ built up
and prepared a very changful course. You had to ride over stairs,
around the trees and right thru a deep sand passage of the beach
volleyball field.
Congratulations to Gerd Lembitz from the RV Möve Schmelz, who
won both races this weekend. In the overall ranking of the Cross-Cup
of Germany, I fought my way up to the 6th place.
At the 5th of january, I escape from Germany to my lovely flowerchild
island of La Gomera, for a MTB exercise camp with Detlef Goht
from the bike ststion of Gomera.
