Hello Pirates!

Today I wanted to start on a MTB-Marathon in Obermarchtal. Their were more than 375 starters for the middle distance with 54km and 950m of altitude. The race became real fast, just from the start and the speed was kept up. Until km18, I was able to ride with the front field, but than I had to let go, but I made up a new chase group  with 3 others, we worked really good together and everybody took some time in the lead. On the ascent, the speed was forced again, one I had to let go, and at least I was able to get a little gap between me and the other 2 riders. Finally it was enough for the 11th place overall with a time of 1:55h. Greetings Jens – see you in Munich
