Now its time, now the UCI is required…BSN-PIRATE team rider and proud Capt´n Pirate Ubi Blutsventje was cheated out of victory !!!
At the 10th Phalia mountain sprint over the 12,4km long course with 260m of altitude towards the Lindemannsruhe, was a struggle all over… I started in the group of TWt25 ( Tyre wider than 25mm ) with my MTB.

The start was in reversed start number sequence with a difference of 30seconds. With a time of 27,22minutes I crossed, no I flew over the finish line with an average speed of 27,2 km/h and I felt like the winner of the race (TWt25). Winner in the road bike group was Raimund Kron with a time of 22:04minutes.

Far wrong…the winner in my class was Dennis Arndt from the RSV Pfaffenhuber team on his E-bike with a 250W engine. He had a time of 26:03minutes and an average speed of 28:6km/h. My reclamation at the winner ceremony got rejected because it came too late.

Well, I just remained behind with the thankless 2nd place but with the feeling of being the moralic winner of this race. At this event, which is free of charge, they had prizes for almost every participator and so everyone could feel himself as a “winner”…
