or Servus, like the Bavarian will say. On the 18th of April 2010
at 08:26 o´clock, finally time has come. The start of the City-Bike-Marathon
in Munich. The weather was allright, but a little bit fresh. For
myself it should be an exercise ride under competition situations.
After the start we conquered the town of Munich to the east side
and after you passed or entered the Kennedy-Bridge, the timing
started.
Than we rode side by side to the Isar river heading north until
the toen of Dietersheim, then we took a kind of U-turn and rode
back on the other side of the Isar. When we arrived the Allianz-arena
we changed our direction again and headed to Fröttmaninger Mountain,
I passed him quite good. Further on we rode to Oberschleißheim
passing the Rowing-course and rode back to the olymic park from
the north-east.
At the mountain in the olympic park, we had to manage some up
and downhill parts as well as some single-trails, but it was no
problems for mysel. I really love it, if it goes uphill, while
I´m not that fast on a flat stage.
But it was lots of fun participating, now I´ll prepare myself
for the B-course marathon at the MTB-fiest at Lake Tegern. Maybe
in the meantime, comes one or another marathon in between, but
than I ´ll report you… Having said this…
