Two times the 17th place for me last weekend. Because I havenīt
rode my bike for almost 10days, I travelled a little bit nervous
to the race on saturday in Elmshorn. The temperatures were really
cold and it was a really slippery and icy and I wasnīt really
relaxed because of it.
But standing by the start line, I switched to race-mode and I
forgot almost everything. Than after the start we had a really
sharp turn to the right, into the forest. I was a bit to fat on
the outside lane and were pushed aside. After this turn their
was a single trail, were it was impossible to pass, when we came
to a staircase, I used mychance and passed lots of the guys before
me, it lasted almost three rounds when I arrived in the group
where I belong to, but sadly the catch-up costed a lot of strength,
so I wasnīt able to ride for a long time with this group. Well,
than I rode my very own race and crossed the finsh line on the
17th place, but it was fun for sure.
When you wear the new dress, you gonna be more motivated during
the race.
On Sunday I went to Volksdorf, there we had an icy course as well
and it was a fight for neck or nothing. Soon in the first round;
my chain always switched itself from the big to the small chain
ring, and so I lost lots of places.
I made the best out of it and crossed the finish line on the 15th
place, but later in the overall ranking I was on the 17th place,
I donīt know why, maybe only the WA, or maybe not.
