With the best weather condition you can imagine I stood up on
race saturday early in the morning at 5:15o´clock and drove 3h
to the Sauerland, just to meet some friends and to play a little
bit with them…
The village of Grafschaft were overcrowded, you weren´t able to
get to the parking spaces, you want to. there were almost 2000
starters, but soon after my arrival I met another Pirate ( Martin
Krankemann) and didn´t feel alone anymore and a bit more comfortable.
While I started for the first time inGrafschaft, I soon got to
know that the ascents are not steep but very long, but at least,
the weather was really good that day and my jersey was so bright,
that I lighted up in the field and that I didn´t have a crash
and finished on the 59km round on the 59th place in my age-group.
The time was not bad for my first participation here, I´m really
satisfied, It was a nice race. But I can´t tell you why I´m looking
on all the pictures so tortured...I don´t know…
