…on last sunday, we, the guys from the „ Lausitzer running Pirates“
stepped on virgin soil...
The leisure runners took part very spontaneuos at a hockey tournament
of the Karate Do e.V Hoyerswerde club for its 20years jubilee
and proved by participating that fun, team spirit of doing sports
together are standing in first line for them. Never before, anyone
of them hold a batter in their hands or got a painful experince
with the fast played plastic balls.
At the end, we were cheering real loud, becuase after 8 hard games,
another team took the last place instead of us.
Of one voice, Sven Schneider (38) became the running Pirate of
the month for his brilliant goal keeper efforts. And after all,
we could celebrate a good and hard fighted for 8th place.
And on the coming weeken, we ´re “back at the roots”.
We, “the Lausitzer running Pirates”, will participate at the 12th
Knappensee run on all distances. .
