It´s august, it´s time to travel to Glücksburg !

I´m (well) prepared…I want to swim, to bike and to run…I wann be an “OstseeMan”! We´re 5 Pirates, who want to get to know their limits… Bjoern and myself are repeat offenders, Robert K. wants after several participations on a relay-team, how it is to do this job alone and Hakan and Martin are Longdistance-virgins or freshmen….Everybody of us prepared himselves for this event in the last days, months and longer. Sadly, the contest of Bjoern, was finished before it even started. He had to work and was “ indispensable”. SO, we, the others, made our way there right in the night, to the transition area. I´ve already seen the Baltic Sea more smooth and even no sight of the sun... ...but who care´s, today is not a children birthday, so put on your colorful bathing cap and make your way to the swim-start… …after I feeded up the fishes, time has come for me to get on my bike… …a few minutes after me, Robert K. escaped from the waters, jumped on his bike, put his chain mostright and burned a line in the bitumen… …even Martin was not much after me on his bike… …closely followed by Hakan.. While I had to fight with the inside of my stomach on the bike… …Robert already been up for a walk… Hakan enjoyed a sight seeing tour around Glücksburg, while he was riding... and myself??? I didn´t even have the power/ strength to smile... At this point, Martin doesn´t know, that inside the coke is no rum... Hello Robert K.: Running is pure fun, even when it doesn´t feel like it... ...now Martin knew that inside the coke is no rum... …obviously Hakan had the rum in his drinking bottle, I don´t know why he is smiling like that… …WELL…does it last longer??? Hakan got an eays day, and is enjoying his way to the finish line…. Robert K. already was under the shower, when I reached the finish line... ...when I reached the finish, I had the power/ strength to smile again... …only a few moments after me, Martin made his way to the home straight, with our colors hoisted high…. There´s still no rum in our coke, so, we warmed up with our flags... ...and also we gave Hakan some frsh air in the meantime...of course only tail wind. Finally, the day for Hakan was all over as well. One more Pirate in the „ Long Distance Crew“ QUITTING TIME !!!!!
