When Stephan, David and myself inspected the course on friday
we knew that we wouldn´t be able to ride with half speed down
to the valley. Even the first jump was very mean, so I jumped
not far enugh the first times, because you weren´t able to see
the landing point before you are in the air. But htan it was often
too late for pushing the throttle again.
At the second jump over a den, then things went better during
the exercise.
The path went on towards a steep acsent, who became almost for
everybody his doom. Here you were able to see, which one of them
already went to Lake Gardo and which don´t. Some turns with loose
gravel forced the riders to do a hard job.
After a fast passage you came to the Road Gap.
and than to the second acsent with a hanging turn and roots and
as well the jump over the “ swan pond”. But this time with no
swans and by the heat, with no water in it…
After some more turns you came to the finish, sadly this weekend
we weren´t able to reach a podiums place. David broke his thumbs
and sprained his ligaments. Stepahn had a flat tyre and fell over
a root just before a jump, and because of that I think, my bike
wanted to get rid of me some more time during the race.

But the next race is on the men course in Bad Wildbach
