Rock`n Roll at the river Elbe island race

Moin Moin was the call for us at a very ungodly hour of 7:00 o´clock on a Sunday morning to get to the river Elbe island race in Wilhelmsburg. Because our T4-van was in a garage that weeken, we had to cancel our participation with a tandem bike and had to get our very own road bikes for the race. Shortly after the registration the organizer knew that their were more participators than being thought of, so they had to made up for some more starting numbers...at the end they had over 100 particpants at the starting line of the hobby-race. I don´t know if Robby K. packed the right bike for this… Anyow the registration was stress free after all. It was an relaxed life at the starting line and everyone was in a good mood, so, we were able to start a joyful race. IN the finish area already the senior class waited for its start. Here I was able to catch a word with Jens Schwedler, who didn´t participated on my birthday party o friday. Stephan and Atrid were also on the start and very appy about it that they reached the finish and finish the race healthy and undamaged. While Gaby and Astrid are thinking of what kind of crepe they should it… ….and Meline about what was in her last drink… Maxi is waiting for Robby K. arrive at the finish line, but he got a heavy crash…later more… on the market place was the expo area and the action platform… Even the other classes like the seniors here were well-casted. after all it was successful organization and we´re being here for sure next year. And maybe with some more Pirates on the start. Greetings Ron
