Hola Landlubbers!
Today, is my second day off, here in Valle Gran Rey on La Gomera.
And face it Germany, we got 26degrees her eon my flower-child
island, what you got? After I spent two evenings on YOGA with
Dan at the Finca Argayall “ Place of Light”, I´m now only steps
away from my enlightment.
This is a really good friend of mine, on my MTB and exercise tours.
He is able to hold the speed and pace, he knows the island really
good, and was even able to ride on the highest point of this island,
the Garajonay with 1487m above sea-level.
The best on most active kind to get to know the island of La Gomera
is with Detlef Goth and his guides from the Bike Station Gomera
and on Univega-Bikes. The 2011 bike of Univega, the Univega Alpina
HT-560 with a delta-II-frame, Shimano Xt30gear and Rock Shox Recon
Gold RL, is even on the second impression a good bike…good in
design and function.
What a view in the Tambara-Bar in Vueltas, what a wonderful sundown.
It´s really comfortable on the patio and you enjoy the view on
the smallest Canary island of El Hierro. You don´t always have
to listen the sundown drummers in LaPlaya.

Thrust to luck,
my next adventure is already waiting for me: the Cycling Challenge
of Gran Canaria at the 25th and 26th of march. The queen of the
sun “Petra Wonisch” packed me a wonderful package in the week
from the 20th to the 27th pf march, with a road bike marathon
and a Open-MTB-Marathon. So, I gotta pack my road tyres in my
suitcase and off we go…
