Sunday at the forest in Hambach

Last sunday we went with the whole family to the forest run in Hambach, it`s just around the corner... But this time, it was not my only part to run, this time, it was the young and fast to run first. Timika and her friends from the kindergarten trained a lot for the “ Bambini-Run” over 250m and so, 5 “small foxes” from “our kindergarten”stood highly motivated at the starting line with some other Bambini´s. It was time to start, and under wonderful weather conditions, she kid´s showed what they´re up to… 250 m can be so long...but all of them were successful and reached the finish. Every child recieved a certificate, a medal and a small gift,of course and Timika was also 1st in her age-group. Only one hour later is was time for me to run. A 14,26km long run thru the forest of Hambach, with two rounds. Theire wasn´t very much people on the start and I took the lead of the women´s race, right after the start. With a time of 57:11min I was 1st overall and of course in my age-group as well. Sveny
