"Blutsventje News" SKS D-Cup Cross in the  Saarland

Moin Landlubbers, one last appearance as the furious reporter and Pirate Capt´n of the PIRATE-VeloTotal-Team at the SKS cross cup of Germany, double taxation, the great prize of Beta in Schmelz and the “ FERVOR Carbon-Wheels Cyclocross” in Homburg and another double taxation for me, after my race, I had to get fast showered and ready for the start of the women´s pro race with my camera to get some pictures of my team mate Benita. Highly concentrated before the start in Schmelz, starting signal and full throttle thru the forest, first uphill than over roots and around the trees. After a good start, I had to get of my bike in a technical section, because the guy in front of me, surprisingly decided himself to walk and push his bike up the hill. Suddenly I was far away from the first and wan´t able to get back to the leading group. At the end I crossed the finish line on the 8th place, Benita made it better and ended up on the 7th place. The start in Homburg, clenching my teeth and full throttle right from the first starting row and the opening lap thru the christian child village, here you got everything you like on the course, ascents, stairs, sandbox and more... As the matter of fact, I´m a MTB, I got some advantages in the technical sections than my competitors, but when you had to push the pedals really hard, some of the oxes got more power in their legs… Really satisfied I ended up on the 6th place and recieved some prize money and because of the money, I made a stop on my way back home on the interstate at McCafé...I love it... Conclusion: It was a wonderful cross season from october to december, even the weather was allright and so, I had no mud or rain race and after 5 races in the SKS Cup of Germany I´m on the 8th place in my age-group. That´s all folks... At the 4th of january 2012, I´m back on my flower child island La Gomera, but this time everything will be different...and what??? You´ll read it in the next “ Blutsventje News”.
