At the 22nd and 23rd january 2011 were in Senftenberg the 5th
Indoor-marathon. Lots o the runners here are using this annually
event to test their shape after the long winter break.
Because the location of the event in within our territorial waters
of the „Running Pirates of the Lausitz“, several Pirates wanted
to participate their. On board as well, were several Pirate-Offsprings,
which already participated in lots of running events last year.
4 girls started on the 100m course and proved that they´re even
during the winter months in quite a good shape.
After running 4 rounds, Leonie Lange arrived at the finish line
with a time of 4:54min and finished 1st in her age-group F8/9.
The other Pirates girls dominated this age-grouip as well on the
5th place Lillian Hoffmann ( 6:00min), 6th place Nele Skopi (
6:13min) and on the 7th place Anna-Maria Mikwauschk with a time
of 6:34min.
Even in the 10000m contest, the Pirates showed what they´re made
of. In the age-group M14/15, Kevin Hoffmann finished on the 2nd
place with a time of 50:34min. IN the age-group M45-49, Jörg Mikwauschk
finished on the 6th place with a time of 53:15min, he ran a retained
run, with a constantly speed. Harald Skopi himself, wasn´t able
to hold his speed he ran from the beginning because of suddenly
problems, but at least he was able to finish all the 40 rounds
with a time of 53:53min and it was the 6th place in his age-group
30-34.
Special thanks to all our supporting fans and team members, who
