My weekend, 2nd day : Sprint-triathlon in Willich

After my victorx at the run of Eschweiler, I went the very next day, Sunday, to Willich, to participate in a sprint-triathlon. The weather was rather decent and moderate… This event is very familiar and very good organized like in the years before. They even got something to play for the kids, like a bouncing castle, a Bobby-Car-Race-Track, a playing field, a water basin and lots more… And guess who, we´re meeting before the start?!? Yes, you´re right: Pirate Marco ! But firstly, getting into the waters... And after 9:43min for 500m swimming, I escaped the the pool and to enter the 20km bike course... Meanwhile, some dark clouds cme up, so full throttle, and before I reached the turning point of the bike course, I already passed the leading women, and luckily the dark clouds went by, without raining, for the first...when I came to the turning point for the 2nd and last time, the course was all wet, but I was still dry, for the first. And as the leading women, I entered the running course for the final 5km of running. And finally the rain hit me, but while your are running...Never Mind! After 1:06:54h I reached as the first women the finish with more than 5min ahead of the 2nd, in my starting field, but in the 2nd starting field, was a women faster than me, so I ended up on the 2nd place overall but I took the 1st in my age-group, yeah! And guess who we met after the race?!? Yes, you´re right: Pirate Eric! Well after all, it was a wonder-and successful Pirate-weekend. Your Sveny TEAM PIRATE  JULIACUM
